One-sixth of the DOW 30 Flirts with Bankruptcy: Here's a List

Bank of America Corporation
Citigroup, Inc.
General Motors Corporation
JP Morgan & Chase & Co

American Express, General Motors,Citibank, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase - one-sixth of the DOW 30 is on the verge of bankruptcy. Were it not for the government bailout, these companies would most likely be dust. Since they are all DOW components, it isn't hard to understand why the market has been tanking, driven in a ditch by Wall Street and the talking-heads and reporters who babble about all things Wall Street.
No wonder they want a scapegoat(are you listening CNBC's Rick Santelli and Jim Cramer)? Talk about being part of the problem and not the solution. Whew! You guys are something.

Fortunately President Barack Obama has broad shoulders and, in my time-tested observation, a hundred-fold the courage of the boo-hooing Wall Streeters. Looks better in a suit, even.

Too often weak, soft folks fail to grasp how tough and resilient the middle and lower classes are, and how quickly they can spot a bunch of guilty-faced experts doing the CYA dance. My guess is that every single reporter at the WSJ personally knows, and knows well a whole lot of the geniuses at the above 5 companies who are now begging to be saved. Will you take your verbal ax to them, instead of President Obama, or would that be cutting off your nose to spite your face?

That is, if you can still save face.
